Shipping charges are as follows:
- Within Canada: orders are shipped via Canada Post Expedited mail service with tracking and delivery confirmation. Orders will be charged a flat rate $12 Canadian shipping fee.
- Orders to the U.S.: will be charged a standard $15 CAD flat rate shipping fee with tracking. Additional import, customs, and sales taxes may be added separately in accordance with your state or country's specific requirements and is your responsibility to pay.
- Overseas orders will be charged a standard $40 CAD flat rate shipping fee. Additional import, customs, and sales taxes may be added separately in accordance with your state or country’s specific requirements and is your responsibility to pay.
All orders will be shipped within 7 business days of placing the order. You will be notified once your order has been shipped and we will notify you as soon as possible of any delays. Delivery times vary by destination, but please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery of most goods within North America and 2-4 weeks for overseas orders. However, these timelines are estimates and will vary depending on the country to which the order is being delivered. Please note that all shipping and handling charges and taxes and duties are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be paid in part or in full by La Misc Inc. If you require your order in a rush, please contact us via email to inquire about express shipping. We will do our best to meet your deadline.
Canadian customers will pay GST/HST according to their provincial rate. American and international customers are responsible for all taxes and import duties levied by their respective countries; payment of these may be necessary to release your order from customs upon arrival. When shipping internationally, there may be customs clearance procedures that cause delays beyond the original delivery estimates set out below.
La Misc Candles is not responsible for any items lost or delayed in transit. We are unable to refund or replace stolen packages or unretrieved packages that have been confirmed as delivered. We are not responsible for items that are not received due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address.

Due to the nature of essential oils, candle color may vary from batch to batch. As with any artisanal process, slight variations may occur.
Because of the handmade nature of our products, we do not offer returns or exchanges unless products arrive damaged. Damages incurred to glass or otherwise should be noted immediately upon receipt. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with photo of any damage, for return authorization. Damaged goods must be addressed within 5 days of receipt, and return shipped within 10 days.
